The published articles are open submission, indexed and peer-reviewed.

» Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

» Plagiarism Check

The editor will run a plagiarism check using Turnitin for the submitted articles before sending to the reviewers. We do not process any plagiarised contents. If an article has over 25% of plagiarism based on the result of the check, we will send back the article to the author to be revised for the plagiarised contents.

» Peer Review Process

Authors must submit manuscript through the online submission. For being published, the manuscript must go through a peer review process (reviewing process). We only publish articles that have been reviewed and approved by highly qualified researchers with expertise in a field appropriate.

The acceptance or rejection of manuscript submitted by author(s) will be decided by the editorial boards, which is based on the review results. The first screening is the content/scope as well as the novelty from the article submitted, which is done by the editor. After passing the first screening, to get fair reviewing process, our journal usually proceeds each article with at least two reviewers.

There are no communications between authors and reviewers during the reviewing process. Also, there are no communications between authors and editors regarding the rejection decision. Authors whose papers are accepted, revised, rejected will be informed with the results from the editors.

After being reviewed, there will be four kinds of editor decision based on the reviewers’ recommendation:

Accept Submission: The submission will be accepted without revisions.
Revisions Required: The submission will be accepted after minor changes have been made.
Resubmit for Review: The submission needs to be re-worked, but with significant changes, may be accepted. It will require a second round of review, however.
Decline Submission: The submission will not be published in the journal.

» Article Revision

The articles sent back to the authors for revision should be returned to the editor without delay. The revised article returned later than 20 days will be considered as new submissions. The revised article can be sent to editorial through the Online Submission Interface

» Withdrawal of Articles

The authors are not allowed to withdraw submitted articles in the process of reviewing, because the withdrawal is a waste of valuable resources that editors and reviewers spent a great deal of time processing submitted articles. The withdrawal can be direct requests or without confirmation in which the authors do not send their revised articles. For this circumstance, they will be punished by paying IDR 500.000 per manuscript. However, it is unethical to withdraw a submitted manuscript from one journal if accepted by another journal. The withdrawal of articles after they are accepted for publication, the author will be punished by paying IDR 750.000 per manuscript. Withdrawal of article is only allowed after the withdrawal penalty has been fully paid to the Publisher. If the authors don't agree to pay the penalty, the authors and his/her affiliation will be blacklisted for publication in this journal. Even, his/her previously published articles will be removed from our journal.

» Articel Processing Charge

All articles published in the JUDIKA (JURNAL PENDIDIKAN UNSIKA) are published in full open access. In order to provide free access to readers and improve our journal management system and long-term archiving, an article processing charge (APC) applies to papers accepted in this journal. The APC in this journal is as follows: 0 USD (Foreign authors) or IDR 250.000 (Indonesian authors).

Focus and Scope

As an international, multi-disciplinary, peer-refereed journal, the scope of this journal is in learning and instruction area which provides a platform for the publication of the most advanced scientific researches in the areas of learning, development, instruction and teaching. The journal welcomes original empirical investigation. The papers may represent a variety of theoretical perspectives and different methodological approaches. They may refer to any age level, from infants to adults and to a diversity of learning and instructional settings, from laboratory experiments to field studies. The major criteria in the review and the selection process concerns the significance of the contribution to the area of learning and instruction.
